C# Yellow Book

4837882220_c93c25a27d.jpg
The C# Book is used by the Department of Computer Science in the University of Hull as the basis of the First Year programming course.
We give away a free printed copy to students when they arrive in the department, and we also give a copy away to anyone who comes to see us on an Open Day. This is the 2010 version of the book, which still has an attractive yellow cover and a fancy crinkled effect that took literally seconds to create.
C Sharp from Java Orange Book (462K)
This is based my original journey from Java to C#. If you are an experienced Java programmer who wants to find out what C# is all about you might find it useful

Rob Miles CSharp Yellow Book 2009.pdf (1.5M)
This is an updated version of the Yellow Book with some typographical errors fixed (thanks everybody) but the same content (and jokes..)
Rob Miles CSharp Yellow Book 2010.pdf (2.8M)
This is the latest version of the book, with revised structure and extra sections which now covers collections and threading. But there are still some jokes..
